Bat and Bottle, Oakham's own specialist importer of Italian wines are hosting a new special event to mark the start of the summer. 

Taking place on Friday 13th June from 7pm, Bat and Bottle's co-founder Ben Robson will host the first of their Summer Italian Wine Tastings at Castle Cottage at Oakham Castle. 

Attendees can look forward to an entertaining and person introduction to some 'eclectic' Italian wines with tasting led by Ben's expert insights, accompanied by antipasti sharing boards.

The event will take place outside the castle, weather permitting. If the weather is poor, the event will move inside the comfort of the café.
