A local woman has set out to reunite a photo album with its owner.

Found in a local charity shop, the hunt has begun to reunite a photo album with its owner, family members or a collector.

The album, that was picked up at an Oakham charity shop, contains a catalogue of images dated 1928 and 1929, picturing scenes captured in and around Oakham and Rutland.

Images include Preston Pond, Oakham Swimming Gala, Cottesmore Hounds, Somerby, and picnic scenes.

Jill Knight, a Rutland resident, found the album in an Oakham charity shop, and has launched a mission on social media to find the owner or relatives of those pictured.

Jill said: "I came across this in a charity shop and would love it to return to its family or a collector of local interest."

Jill attached a few images of the album to her post:
