The Lucky Hoof menu at The Angler has seen success following its launch on Thursday 19 January.

The Angler on Mill Street is 'back in the race' following the launch of their new menu, Lucky Hoof, this week.

The venue, formerly Orbis, experienced a huge rebrand in September 2022, and relaunched as The Angler, a 'pub for the people' with a more affordable menu and family values.

Since reopening in October 2022, the venue have struggled through a loss of heating, large staff turnover, and the cost-of-living struggles being experienced nationwide.

However, it appears that their new cowboy themed menu is ensuring that they are 'back in the race' as 2023 really gets going.

Owner, Jonathan Spencer, said that the team had received "some great feedback on the food and some really good constructive points for us to work through" following their opening on Thursday.

On top of their revamped burger menu, the team are serving loaded fries, sides, shakes and more.

The team have also introduced a new offer where kids eat for only £5 from Tuesday to Friday between 4pm and 5pm.

The Angler is now open, serving food, shakes and cocktails.
