Oakham: Rutland-based retreat reveals its Christmas festivities featuring Residential Package

Embracing the Christmas spirit with open arms, Rutland Hall Hotel & Spa, has revealed its Christmas festivities featuring an indulgent Residential Package.

Decked for the holidays with seasonal décor and promising an experience that balances merriment with relaxation, the the refurbished and re-branded former Barnsdale Hall Hotel, is offering an exclusive 'Residential Package' aimed to take all of the stress out of the festive season during December.

A sparkling package is promised consisting of numerous yule-based treats, including fruity mulled wine and homemade cookies upon arrival, as well as a delicious three-course meal and champagne cocktails on Christmas Eve.

When the big day finally arrives, the hotel will accommodate excitable early risers with a hearty Christmas breakfast served from 7.30 am. With plenty of time available for spending with your loved ones in between meals, a traditional three-course Christmas lunch prepared by the hotel's Executive Head Chef, Sumit Chakrabarty, will be served from midday, complete with crackers, crowns and all the trimmings.

To unwind after a day of indulgence, guests can enjoy a stroll through the surrounding, idyllic Rutland waterside or enjoy a casual stroll within the beautiful grounds of the hotel. For those preferring to relax indoors, the lounge bar offers breath-taking views and will, of course, be toasting to the Queen's Speech at 3 pm.

To conclude the three-day staycation, guests can enjoy a lazy morning on Boxing Day, venturing down for breakfast between 8 -10:30 am before checking out. If wanting to extend the celebrations further, guests can treat themselves to a pre-booked spa package or even a more adventurous family game of crazy golf.

The two-night Christmas Residential Package is available to book now from £275 per person, based on two people sharing a room. Guests wishing to also stay on Boxing Day evening can do so for an additional cost from £99 per person B&B.

For those needing to recuperate after the hectic festive period, Rutland additionally offers a special 'Twixmas' offer. Comprising of festive dining options, accommodation and even a full English breakfast, this offer is available between 26th-30th December from just £170 per room, per night.

Additional Yuletide events at Rutland Hall Hotel & Spa in December include Christmas Comedy Dining, Christmas Party Nights, An Evening of Sax 'n' Swing and Festive Afternoon Tea with Santa.
