Oakham: Rutland County Council Christmas opening times and information

Rutland County Council has published opening hours for key services over the Christmas and New Year period.

The main customer service area at the Council's Catmose office in Oakham is currently closed until further notice, following the introduction of new Omicron COVID guidance. Calls and emails will be answered over the Christmas period.

However, residents are asked to be mindful of bank holiday closures and any changes to normal opening hours. This also applies to local libraries, Rutland County Museum and Oakham Castle.

While the offices are closed, residents can still expect to have calls and emails answered by the Customer Services team between the following times over the Christmas period:

24 December: 9.00am - 12.30pm and 2.00 pm - 4.30 pm

25 December: CLOSED

26 December: CLOSED

27 December: CLOSED

28 December: CLOSED

29 December: 9.00am - 12.30pm and 2.00pm - 5.00pm

30 December: 9.00am - 12.30pm and 2.00pm - 5.00pm

31 December: 9.00am - 12.30pm and 2.00pm - 4.30pm

1 January: CLOSED

2 January: CLOSED

3 January: CLOSED

Residents can also continue to access Rutland County Council services online by visiting: www.rutland.gov.uk or by registering for the Council's new MyAccount service, where they can make payments, submit queries and track the progress of any online requests.

  • Emergency out of hours support for children: 0116 305 0005
  • Emergency out of hours support for adults: 0116 255 1606
