An Oakham shop has announced that it will now be opening on a Tuesday.

Rocka-Buy Records, located at the former home of Sweeney Todd the barbers just off Mill Street, has extended its opening times.

Owner, vinyl enthusiast and ex Care Manager for Rutland County Council, Dean Poole, has been running Rocka-Buy records in The Maltings since late May 2021, and has been adding more strings to the shop's extensive bow as the young business has grown.

As well as extending their opening hours, the team have also hinted at other exciting developments in store for the local business.

They shared on social media" "We are now going to be open on a Tuesday as well as our usual days. We will still be shut on Mondays - we need a day to recharge our batteries - but opening hours will now include Tuesdays."

The shop will open as follows:

Tuesday - Saturday, 10am - 4:30pm

Sundays, 11am - 2:30pm
