On top of the current Rutland County Council election for Uppingham Ward, Uppingham Town Council is currently in the process of filling two vacant seats.

During the first round of elections that took place this week, only one candidate came forward to fill one of the roles.

With one applicant applying, the first position has been allocated to Mr Michael Ralph Fish uncontested.

The Town Council are still seeking another candidate to fill the second position. Candidates will be able to apply for this role once another round of elections has been released.
