Oakham: What's on in Oakham this weekend

Oakham and the surrounding areas are set to enjoy a variety of events this weekend, from clothes sales to grand reopenings and, for those feeling adventurous, a walking or running half-marathon.
Tammi's Tearoom and ice-cream parlour at The Plough in Greetham will be reopening following a winter hiatus on Friday the 1st of April 2022. The Tearooms will begin to welcome visitors from 10am, with dogs and children welcome too. The team serve light lunches, cakes, selection of ice-creams and both hot and cold drinks to eat in or take away. Tammi's can be found behind popular local pub The Plough in Greetham, and is well worth a visit.On Saturday the 2nd of April 2022, Harringworth Village Hall are hosting the 'Let's Redress the Balance' Clothes Sale.
Harringworth are excited to welcome visitors to their designer label clothes sales with new and nearly new clothes, shoes and handbags, all at bargain prices. There will be a variety of sizes and styles from evening to beach wear.
Drop in from 11.00 to 5.00pm on Saturday the 2nd of April in Harringworth Village Hall.
Payment can be taken by cash or card.

On Sunday the 3rd of April 2022, Rutland Water will see locals and visitors compete in a half marathon (13.1 miles) starting at Barnsdale. Start time is 09:00am, with a cut off time of 2:00pm. The entry Fee is £32.00 which includes a finisher medal, instant results, chip timing, and free event photos To register, click here Alternatively, there is a half marathon walk taking place on Saturday the 2nd of April.
