Oakham's newest bridal boutique will be celebrating its first birthday in Rutland's county town this May.

Modern Day Bridal will celebrate one year of trading in May 2024.

Located in The Maltings, just off Oakham's Mill Street, Modern Day bridal launched on 1 May last year, and has since helped local brides find the one - and we mean the dress!

Beck Smith, who got married in September, ignited her passion for wedding wear when she began shopping for her own dress.

She explained: "My love for bridal started when planning my own wedding, which is coming up this September.

"Even after saying yes to my dress, I found myself still admiring dresses online – I was totally hooked! I always hoped for a career which I am truly passionate about and this is exactly what I'd been waiting for."

Join Becky and the team at the boutique on Saturday 4 May from 3pm-5pm, when the doors will be open to welcome you all for a celebratory drink to mark one year.

Whether you're getting married and want to browse their stunning dress collection, or just want to pop and say hello, the team would love to see you there.

There will be exclusive dress discounts, refreshments and more on offer.
