A pop up art exhibition is heading to Oakham this September

Rutland Pop up Art Exhibition, a new initiative hosted by a local artist, Juliette Brasher, will be heading to Oakham's Church Street this year.

The former home of All Saints hair dressing on Church Street will be transformed this September into a pop up art gallery, displaying work by local artists, with many works available to buy.

A splendid variety of art will be on display and for sale in the shop, side passage and out buildings of the former hair dressers. Works included will be oil, acrylic and pastel painting, sterling silver and resin jewellery, street art, sticker art and clothing, textiles, pastel, mixed media and more.

A range of works will be on display and available to buy. Image credit: Juliette Brasher.

Local, amateur, part-time, professional, 'incognito', and internationally successful artists will have their work on display at the event.

The event will be run in collaboration with Rutland Open Studios, an annual art trail around Rutland that celebrates the varied and vibrant work of local artists and creatives. Find out more, including how to join the open studios initiative, here.
