Ramraiders steal caravan from Greetham Garage

Ramraiders smashed through gates at Greetham Garage in the early hours of yesterday (Thurs) morning and towed away a caravan.

The thieves targeted the Great North Road business just before 5am.

A Leicestershire Police spokesman said: "Officers received a report at around 8am yesterday reporting a burglary at a premises in Great North Road, Greetham.

"From initial enquiries, it is believed the incident happened between 4.40am and 4.44am and involved the gates being rammed by a vehicle.

"A caravan was stolen from the premises."

Enquiries are ongoing and anyone with any information should contact 101 quoting incident 107 of 6 June.
