The residents of a Rutland village have been asked to comment on their draft neighbourhood plan.

The plan, which sets out how the village of Edith Weston should be developed over the period to 2041, guides future development, focused on the themes of sustainable growth, residential development, natural landscape, green space, heritage, design, transport and other matters.

Rutland County Council are inviting comments which can be made until 5pm on Monday, June 10.

The submission plan and supporting documents are available on the neighbourhood planning pages of Rutland County Council's website.

Comments must be made in writing and can be submitted either by email: [email protected] or posted to: Planning Policy, Rutland County Council, Catmose, Oakham, Rutland, LE15 6HP.

Once this consultation has closed, all representations and comments received will be passed to an independent examiner who will consider them and recommend whether the Neighbourhood Plan should be put to a community referendum.

If you have any questions about the draft Edith Weston neighbourhood plan, please telephone 01572 720902 to speak to someone in the planning policy team.
