Temporary road closures in Oakham Town Centre will be in place on Monday 9th December for the Christmas Late Night Shopping event. 

Between 12 noon and 10pm on Monday 9th December, Mill Street, Market Place, Market Street and Church Street will be closed, as well as High Street from the Burley Road junction to the New Street junction. 

During this time, all vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along these roads, except for reasonable exceptions for accessing premises. 

This is in preparation for Oakham's Late Night Shopping Event, taking place this Monday. Local shops will be staying open late and there will be market stalls, food and drink and entertainment, including singing from local primary schools.
