Although Rutland and Oakham Bridge Club (ROBC) has been, in one form or another, has been running since 1966, the club is celebrating their first year in their new home at the King Centre. 

The club have been meeting in the Whissendine Suite in King Centre in October 2024, with members and playing numbers doubling since the move. 

With over 20 new members starting Bridge for the first time, the club have announced they will be introducing a new Chicago style bridge session on Wednesday afternoons from 1.30pm starting from January 2026. 

Currently, they play duplicate bridge every weekday and will also offer beginner courses starting in January and April.
