Halloween Half Term Fun at Rutland Farm Park
Between 21 October and 2 November, Rutland Farm Park have a busy week of Halloween Fun on the Farm.
Head to Rutland Farm Park for a fang-tastic day out, packed with a spooky scavenger hunt, exploring the spooky woods, ghoulish games, fancy dress and, of course, meeting and feeding their friendly farm animals.

Spooky Scavenger Hunt at Rutland Water
Between 18 October and 2 November, pop into one of Rutland Water's centres to grab your scavenger hunt sheet, then head out to hunt down the listed items for spooky fun for all ages. Costumes encouraged but not required.
Collect a trail sheet from Rutland Water Visitor Centre, Watersports Centre, Waterside Café or Harbour Café.

Becoming Jane Austen at Victoria Hall
The Arts Society Oakham presents 'Becoming Jane Austen: The Making of a Literary Superstar' at Victoria Hall from 10.30am at 23 October.
Annalie Talent charts Jane Austen's rise to fame, from publishing anonymously during her life to being recognised as one of the best loved authors with fans worldwide.

High Sheriff of Rutland Justice Service at All Saints Church
This celebratory service, arranged by the High Sheriff of Rutland Col. (Retd) Richard Chesterfield will be attended by the judiciary, police and other agencies involved in maintaining law and order within the County of Rutland.
This occasion is taking place ahead of the biennial High Court Sitting in Oakham Castle.
The service is taking place on Friday 24 October and those wishing to be attend are asked to be seated by 9.40am.

Charity Autumn Afternoon Tea for Breast Cancer Now at Wing Village Hall
To mark October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Wing Village Hall is hosting a themed afternoon cream tea event to raise money and spread awareness.
Taking place from 2.30pm to 5pm on Sunday 26 October, visitors can enjoy delicious sandwiches, cakes, scones and tea or coffee with wine, prosecco and soft drinks also available.
There will also be a pink raffle with all proceeds going to Breast Cancer Now and to support the costs of Wing Village Hall.
Pre-booking is essential for the afternoon teas, which costs £12.50 per person or £5 for a child under the age of 12.
There will also be a raffle and cake stall selling beautiful take away cakes.
