A Rutland-based band have released a new single today, Friday 10 November.

After launching their debut single earlier this year, and featuring on 'BBC Introducing', the lads from Laketown have been busy creating new music for their already-loyal local following.

Laketown is a new country band featuring three local musicians who have a passion for great British music.

Band members Marcus Houghton, Dan Poole and Jordan Poole are recognisable faces around Oakham, having been a part of the popular party band Funked Up for many years.

Their new band, Laketown, was formed early this year, and is taking the trio in a new direction.

With their music is already being enjoyed across Leicestershire and Rutland by listeners of BBC Radio Leicester, they have a loyal following who are excited to hear their new single...

Laketown's debut single, 'Talk About It', was featured on BBC Radio Leicester earlier this year as a part of the BBC Music Introducing series.

Now, the trio have announced the release of their newest single, 'Could've Been', available now on all major streaming platforms.
