Rutland carers event set to take place in June

A carers event is set to go ahead in Rutland next month.

Hosted by Rutland County Council, and supported by Citizens Advice Rutland, the event will welcome carers from across the county.

Carers will be able to network, meet other carers, and find out more about the support and services on offer in Rutland.

There will be information about:

  • Rutland Rotaract Family Support Service
  • Sunflowers Support Group
  • The Family Hub
  • The Foodbank
  • Longhurst Housing
  • Employment Support
  • Adult Social Care
  • Admiral Nursing
  • Age UK
  • Aiming High
  • The Carers' Centre
  • Healthwatch Rutland
  • RISE
  • and more...

There will also be a series of workshops taking place to support attendees with day to day living and more complex concerns:

  1. Root-and-Branch-Out, 2:30 - 3pm
  2. Adult learning, 3 - 3:30pm
  3. Admiral Nurses, 3:30 - 4pm
  4. Citizens Advice Rutland, 4:30 - 5pm

The event will take place at Rutland County Council Chambers from 2pm until 6pm on Wednesday 7 June.
