Rutland County Council are hiring new Visitor Assistants to work across Rutland County Museum and Oakham Castle to greet visitors on a flexible, casual contract. 

They are looking for someone passionate about History that is the friendly face to meet and greet visitors and tourists. 

The ideal candidate would be educated to GCSE Level with grades A-C in English and Maths or equivalent. They must also be able to provide a high level of customer care with excellent communication and oral skills and be able to work without direct supervision. 

The role, which pays between £12.85 and £13.05, requires working across weekends and weekdays to help provide cover for Front of House and support for learning sessions and holidays workshops.
