On Wednesday the 15th of June 2022, Liberal Democrat Councillor on Rutland County Council, Stephen Lambert took the plunge and shaved his hair with the hopes of raising much needed funds for Hospice UK.

Uppingham Ward Councillor, Stephen Lambert said: "I really felt that I couldn't say no when the group organising 'The Big June Prune' approached me. The work that Hospice UK does to support those dealing with death and bereavement is so valuable."

Stephen's target was to raise a modest £200 for Hospice UK, a national charity for hospice and end of life care.

The Hospice UK team work to ensure that everyone affected by death, dying and bereavement gets the care and support they need, when they need it.

He has already smashed that target, raising a commendable £375 so far.

Further donations can be made here.

Congratulations once again to Stephen!
