The Michelin Great Britain and Ireland Guide 2024 ceremony was held last night, 5 February, and a Rutland venue was included in the selection for this year.

The Michelin Guides are a series of guide books that have been published by the French tyre company, Michelin, for over a century. The Guide awards up to three Michelin stars for excellence to a select few restaurants, including celebrity spots and independent fine dining locations.

Hambleton Hall, located on Hambleton peninsula on Rutland Water, was once again included in the prestigious round up of venues featuring on the list.

This will be the 42nd year in which Hambleton Hall is included in the Michelin Guide, having retain its Michelin star.

The team announced the news on social media, adding that they are "thrilled" to have been included again.

Michelin Great Britain and Ireland Guide 2023 selection was announced on Monday 27 March 2023, and Hambleton is "thrilled to have retained its Michelin star" for yet another year.

Aaron Patterson has been a chef at the venue since 1992, working together with owner, Time Hart, and the team in the kitchen to provide an incredibly high standard of cooking, attracting visitors from across the country.

A total of 1,162 restaurants are included in this year's Michelin selection.
