Rutland man charged with drink driving

A driver has had his licence revoked after being caught drink driving on Wansford Road on the evening of 11 December 2022.

Stephen Evans, 60, of Home Farm Close, Great Casterton, was stopped by Cambridgeshire police officers as part of their Christmas crackdown.

Mr Evans undertook a breath test, which showed that he had 54 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, when the limit is 35.

He was charged with drink driving at Cambridge Magistrates' Court on Tuesday 13 December, where he was disqualified from driving for one year and two months and fined £1,384.
