Rutland MP Alicia Kearns announces winner to annual Christmas card design competition

Alicia Kearns, MP for Rutland and Stamford, has announced the winners of her fifth annual Christmas card competition. 

This year's competition theme was 'Father Christmas and Friends,' with all local primary school children invited to send in their designs.

This year's winner was Emmie from Catmose Primary School. Her design will be printed and sent out as Alicia's official Christmas card, as well as being displayed in Alicia's office window alongside the runners up.

The runners up were Scarlett-Rose from Oakham Church of England Primary School and Orla from English Martyrs Primary School.

She also gave special commendation to Jamie from St Nicholas Church of England Primary School.

"It's been a joy getting into the festive spirit judging these wonderful designs," said Alicia. "I'm very proud to display the winners and runners up in my office windows, so I hope you all enjoy them as much as I do."
