On the 1st, 2nd and 3rd of July, residents and visitors to Oakham will be able to enjoy Rutland's first ever Rutland Music Festival, a 3 day event jam packed with live music, food, beer, and good company.

On Friday the festival will begin at 6:30pm, while Saturday kicks off at 1:30pm and Sunday welcomes guests from 1pm.

The event will play host to a range of locally and nationally acclaimed acts, from DJs, to local favourite Funked Up, and even Showaddywaddy themselves!

While many residents will be able to walk to the festival, some coming from further afield will be driving in, and may get caught up in the remaining road resurfacing and painting works that are going on throughout June and int early July around Rutland.

There will be roadworks going ahead in Seaton on the 1st of July and in Uppingham on the 2nd of July, so please factor this into your journey time if you will be driving to Rutland Music Festival.

Find out more about local road closures here.

In the meantime, book your tickets for the festival here, ranging from £15 to £55 for the whole weekend.
