Rutland pub dubbed 'doggy heaven'
A Rutland-based pub has been dubbed a 'doggy heaven'.
The Plough, a pet and family-friendly pub in the heart of Greetham, have earned high praise from a satisfied customer, who dubbed the venue a 'doggy heaven' following a recent visit.
The team, who regularly host animal-friendly events, and have raised money for the likes of National Military Working Dogs Memorial UK, pride themselves on being "possibly one of the most dog-friendly pubs in Rutland".
Visitors to the pub left a glowing review for the team, dropping five stars on their TripAdvisor page, which has an impressive 4.5 out of 5 in customer reviews.
They said: "Doggy heaven!
"We had an excellent fish and chip supper, and great beer. Have been before and will be going back. Not many places you can relax with an inquisitive border terrier, but she loved the company of other dogs on a Friday night!"
The local pub also recently welcomed back their popular doggy menu - making the cosy local a popular spot for Greetham residents and visitors to the area.
On top of this, they have also introduced a not-so-furry new arrival to the team...
Last month, they welcomed a brand new budgie chick to the pub, which has a full aviary in the back garden, where their new arrival hatched.
They also have rabbits at the pub, so pop down to meet the team. They don't bite - and neither do the animals!
