This year marks the 25th anniversary of the Rutland Rotaract Family Support Centre, a beacon of hope and support for families in the Rutland community.

Since its inception, the centre has dedicated itself to improving the lives of families through a variety of services, ranging from counseling and educational programs to essential childcare support.

Founded in 1999 by a group of passionate Rotaract members, the centre was established to address the growing need for family support in Rutland. Over the years, it has provided vital resources to thousands of families.

The centre's mission has always been to foster a nurturing environment where families can thrive, regardless of their circumstances.

Throughout its 25-year history, the Rutland Rotaract Family Support Centre has introduced numerous initiatives that have had a profound impact on the community.

The team hosted a BBQ and games event and welcomed the High Sheriff of Rutland, who joined the fun.

They said: "Happy 25th Anniversary Rutland Rotaract Family Support Centre.

"Big thank you to The Lions Club of Rutland CIO for supplying and carrying out the bbq and thanks to the High Sheriff of Rutland for joining us this evening and to our trustee Pippa for allowing us to use her land.

"Big thank you to the committee and trustees for all their time and effort to help keep the charity running. Cheers to another fabulous year ahead helping support families not only in Rutland but including those in surrounding counties."
