Save the Date: A blooming lovely day out at Rutland Flower Show

Rutland Flower Show is rapidly approaching, with the three-day event just weeks away, promising heaps of fun, flowers and a lovely family day out.
The Flower Show will be at Rutland Showground from the 15th to 17th August and has already got a jam-packed schedule of famous faces, live demonstrations and friendly competitions for green fingered fanatics and gardening novices alike.

According to the organisers, there will be: floral competitions, garden and plant shopping, skilled artisans, arts and crafts, celebrity gardener talks and advice, a large children's play garden, live music and hot food and drinks.

The show will be a vibrant celebration of Rutland and the surrounding areas horticulture, with talks from Adam Frost from BBC Gardeners' World, garden Tiktoker Bex Edwards, Matthew Wilson from BBC Radio 4's Gardener's Question Time, and Mick Poultney The Compost King.
On 15th August, the first day of the show and also the 80th Anniversary of Victory Japan (VJ Day), there will be a special Battle of Britain Memorial Flight will fly past.
