Save the date: Rutland one-day cycling event and accompanying food, drink and craft fair

Following flooding causing the event to be cancelled in 2024, the Rutland CiCLE classic is returning for 2025 with accompanying food, drink and craft fair.
The Rutland CiCLE Classic is a one-day cycling event which covers the lanes and byways between Oakham, Rutland and Melton Mowbray. This is one of the best races to spectate with up-to twenty different viewing spots along the route to catch the race.
The race is taking place on Sunday 27th April and will be accompanied by a food, drink and craft festival in Oakham, where the race starts and finishes. There will be stalls along Mill Street and Gaol Street selling local produce and goods, as well as many shops opening for the event and activities in Oakham Castle.
Refreshments will be available inside Victoria Hall, where there will also be more indoor stalls.
This event is sure to draw people from the surrounding towns in Oakham and will be sure to have a lively atmosphere in support of the CiCLE race.
The race will start at 11am on Oakham High Street by Market Place and will finish in the same place at approximately 3.40pm.
