Rutland Music Festival took place this weekend, from Friday the 1st of July until Sunday the 3rd of July 2022, hosting nearly 2000 guests over 3 days.

With over 20 hours of live music, food and rinks stalls, rides, attractions and more, the event was packed with value and attendees certainly made some memories.

On top of a range of local bands, Rutland resident and the face of local radio station Rutland and Stamford Sound, Rob Persani, entertained the crowd with DJ sets.

There were also food and drinks stalls to keep the crowds fed and watered throughout the weekend.

Farmer Lou and the team kept fans full with hog roasts and more

As well as local favourites Farmer Lou and The Grainstore, street food specialists Feast and Warner's Traditional Sweet Shop were in attendance. There was also a donut stall to keep the kids and the big kids happy.

Festival goers could enjoy games, rides, dodgems and much more too!

Event organiser Carolyn Acton-Reed said: "I would like to say a HUGE thank you to everyone that came and supported the event, but to make it an annual event it must be more supported. People missed out on a great event and it would be such a shame for it not to be continued.

"Its great for the town too as we attracted people from Melton, Stamford, Leicester, Lincoln and even London. If it is an annual event and we offer camping (which is looking good!) then the town can only benefit from more visitors."

Did you attend this new local event?

Did you enjoy it?

Carolyn has asked visitors to fill in a form on the Rutland Music Festival website to provide feedback and to find out if Rutland residents would like the festival to become an annual event.
