Rutland pub introduces Wednesday curry club and summer opening hours

The Plough in Greetham has extended its opening hours as the evenings get lighter, and will also be back on Wednesday 17 April with the fresh curry club deal.

The Greetham venue is a popular spot for locals, who enjoy daily meal deals, regular bingo, a fun-packed weekly quiz night and live music at the weekends.

Ahead of the winter months, the team announced that they would be closing on Wednesdays following staff illness and darker nights keeping patrons at home.

But now that the evenings are lighter and the beer gardens drier, the team is opening up the terrace, extending the venues opening times and bringing back their curry club - now set to go ahead every Wednesday night.

Already popular, the team have welcomed bookings for the first Wednesday curry club, where you can enjoy a choice of homemade curries with rice, a naan bread, popadoms and, of course, plenty of mango chutney.

Indulge in all of this from £15.95, or two for £22.50 - making this a great date night for local couples or friends looking for something new to do.

The pub also has a range of rotating beers, sprits, soft and hot drinks and desserts, as well as being pet and child-friendly.

If you can't make it on Wednesday, the pub holds their famous Giant Yorkshire Pudding night every Monday, follows Tuesday Pie Night with regular cash bingo, serves up more than just a great deal on Thursday Burger Nights, offers buy one get one half price on Fishy Fridays and hosts live entertainment most Saturdays. Don't forget about Sunday either, when you can enjoy a hearty roast at the quintessentially English pub.
