Plough Fest 2024
The Plough in Greetham will be hosting its annual Plough Fest this weekend from 31 May - 2 June. Live music will take place every evening, with The Peter Kay Experience headlining at 8pm on Saturday. Enjoy live music, beers and ciders and much more!
The pub will also host its weekly quiz on Thursday 30 May from 7:30pm. The event costs £1 per person to enter, max 6 person per team.
You can pop in early for a bite to eat - or join the team on Friday instead for their Fishy Friday meal deal.

Jane's Monthly Book Sale
Jane's Monthly book sale takes place on the first Saturday of each month.
This month's street sale will take place from 9am until 1pm at Congregational Church, High Street, Oakham - which has disabled access via South Street - on 1 June 2024.
Make the most of excellent prices for paperbacks, hardbacks, children's literature and large print.
The sale takes place in aid of EMICS and Air Ambulance.
190th Rutland County Show
Having taken place in the county for nearly 200 years, the Rutland County Show is back on 2 June and tickets are still available.
The 190th Rutland County Show will take place on 2 June from 9am at the Rutland Showground, Showground Way, Oakham.

Quiz Night at The Fox & Hounds
The Fox and Hounds will also be hosting their £12 Thursday Night Special on 30 May 2024, and this week the team are serving up a Thai green chicken curry with rice and flatbread.
