New Year's Day Charity Walk at Belvoir Castle
On New Years Day, there will be a charity walk at Belvoir Castle to mark the 30th Anniversary of Dove Cottage Day Hospice and allow visitors to get some fresh air and explore the beautiful surroundings - all while raising funds for a good cause.
The Charity Walk costs £5 with free car parking and visitors will get access to Belvoir Castle's formal gardens and stunning parkland, following three different routes.
New Year's Day Dip
If you want to start 2026 off in a memorable way, why not join the New Years Day Dip at Rutland Water.
Taking place from 11am on 1 January, swimmers will meet at Rutland Harbour Cafe before taking part in a New Years Day dip, with hot chocolate, soup and more available afterwards to warm up.
The Nutcracker at Stamford Corn Exchange Theatre
Lincolnshire Youth Ballet will be performing the timeless Christmas class, The Nutcracker, featuring professional ballet dancers Paul Meneu and Lucy Meneu.
The show will be performed at 1pm and 6pm on Sunday 4 January at Stamford Corn Exchange Theatre.
