Star Wars

Award-winning outdoor adventure attraction Rumble Live Action Gaming is bringing the force back to the woods this May Bank Holiday with the return of its hugely popular annual Star Wars themed laser tag days.

Taking place for one day only at both venues, families, friends and fans of all ages (six+) are invited to join Star Wars characters and step into an immersive, real-life gaming experience inspired by the iconic galaxy far, far away.

Adding to the atmosphere, players will encounter various iconic characters such as Stormtroopers, Kylo Ren, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Rey throughout the experience.

Hollands Fun Fair

The fun fair returns to Cutts Close Park in Oakham this week.

It opens at 4pm on Thursday and Friday and from 1.30pm from Saturday to Monday.

Grainstore Brewery Tap

It's a busy bank holiday coming up at Grainstore Brewery Tap.

On Saturday there is the Oakham Armed Forces & Veterans Breakfast Club, running from 9am to 11am.

That will then be followed by five-piece indie band Idle Hands that evening.

Then on Sunday it is the May open mic night from 6pm.
