Thursday Night Dinner at The Fox & Hounds

The team at The Fox & Hounds in Knossington be hosting their weekly Thursday night special on 11 July, and this week the team are serving up lamb keema bhuna with saffron rice scorched chapati pickles and rhiata.

For just £12, every week they put on a popular meal deal, and you can head down to 6 Somerby Road, Knossington to join the fun.

Quiz Night and Fishy Fridays at The Plough

The Plough in Greetham will be hosting its weekly quiz on Thursday 11 July at 8pm. The event costs £1 per person to enter and you can have six people per team.

Residents can pop in early for a bite to eat - or join the team on Friday for their Fishy Friday meal deal instead!

The team also have a wide range of other events taking place throughout the summer, including live music acts from the local area and much more, so keep an eye on their Facebook page for more!

Music for a Summer Evening Concert

On Saturday 13 July 2024 at 7.30pm, Rutland Choral Society will present a mixed programme of music to include Lauridsen, Chilcott, Rodgers and Hammerstein and more.

The event will take place at All Saints Church, Church Street, Oakham, Rutland from 6: 45pm.

Children under 16 go free, and adult tickets cost £14 (including refreshments) and are available online. Tickets are also available from members, and on the door.

Live Music at Cutts Close

Join Oakham Town Council and the local community on Sunday 14 July at 2.30pm at The Band Stand in Cutts Close Park, Oakham, where Rutland Big Band will be playing.

Rutland Big Band is an established big band playing music from the swing era, jazz, Latin, funk and pop.
