Connie Taylor Ceramics, a local business that has been creating bespoke, handmade ceramics for over three years, has moved into a new home in Oakham.

Connie has been in business in Oakham for three years and through her support of local causes, collection of unique and handmade products, and open house policy at her store and workshop, she has won the hearts of the local community.

Since opening at Victoria Hall, she has created and sold hundreds of mugs, which are one of her most popular items, as well as wine charms, jewellery, bowls, Christmas decorations, jugs, vases and decorative items, as well as commissions for residents in and around Rutland.

Now, Connie has relocated to what she describes as "a charming little shop" on the corner of Mill Street and High Street.

The unit has two large windows, perfect for displaying Connie's handmade ceramics and, like the Victoria Hall venue, will be her studio and shop.

The shop is open Tuesday to Saturday, 9.30am to 5pm.

Connie Taylor Ceramics will also be hosting an exciting pottery workshop on 21 September between 11am and 1pm or 1.30pm and 3.30pm.

Connie is set to host an exciting pottery workshop later this month (Connie Taylor).

The two-hour workshop comes with step-by-step instructions and a fully qualified instructor so even if you are a complete notice you can get fully stuck in.

The workshop costs £60 and can be booked here
