Hamnet at Rutland County Museum

Rutland County Museum is showing the 2025 film Hamnet, starring Jessie Buckley and Paul Mescal in a dramatisation of the lives of William Shakespeare and his wife Agnes Hathaway.

The screening is taking place on Thursday 3 September.

Lakeside BBQ at Rutland Hall Hotel

Rutland Hall Hotel are serving up a 'delicious BBQ feast' on Blossoms Terrace on Friday 4 September between 5pm and 7pm.

Costing £45 per person, this is a great opportunity to enjoy delicious food while overlooking the picturesque view of Rutland Water.

The Rutland and Northants Open studios is a free event and great opportunity to explore and discover some of Rutland's creative talents.

The central exhibition is at Lamport Hall but there are open studios at a range of venues across Rutland and Northamptonshire to explore.

Corby Male Voice Choir

Corby Male Voice Choir are performing at The Falcon Hotel in Uppingham on Saturday 5 September.

This is a special 50th anniversary concert and tickets are £15 each with all proceeds going to causes supported by the Rotary Club of Uppingham.
