Storm Ciara's high winds took their toll on a number of trees across Rutland yesterday.

Rutland County Council's highways team were out an about clearing a number of trees which blocked and partially blocked roads.

Just one road - Oakham's Langham Road - remains closed today (Mon) due to a fallen tree, but this is expected to be cleared by the early afternoon.

All other routes affected yesterday, including Oakham Road between Tilton and Braunston, the A6003 near Preston, A6121 Foster's Bridge near Ketton and Exton to Tickencote, are open as normal.

The recycling centres at Morcott and Cottesmore were also closed yesterday due to the high winds, but have reopened today.
