Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland (LLR) Mind, your local Mind mental heath and wellbeing charity, is seeking feedback about a new long-term strategy to support the necessary work of the organisation.

And the team would love to hear your thoughts about what mental health support and services are needed in Rutland.

LLR Mind is your local, independent mental health charity within the national Mind network. The aim of the organisation is to improve the mental health and wellbeing of people from across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.

The team provide a range of support and community mental wellbeing services designed to help anyone experiencing poor mental health to live a happy and fulfilling life.

Now, they are developing a long-term strategy to continue seeing success across the county.

A spokesperson for the group explained: "We are developing a new long-term strategy that will guide our work over the next few years and we want to know what you think we should prioritise.

"We're keen to gain views from a wide range of people from across LLR and so have organised a series of engagement workshops where people can share their opinions. These will be relaxed events where you will be asked to consider what you see as the mental health issues currently affecting the region and which ones LLR Mind should focus its efforts on."

The workshops are free to attend and open to all, and will last no longer than two hours. Refreshments will be provided. Places are limited and allocated on a first come, first served basis.

The Rutland workshop is at 2:30pm on Wednesday 29 November in Victoria Hall, Oakham.

The meeting details for the online events will then be shared closer to time of the event.
