Supply chain issues are impacting the availability of walk-in spaces at Rutland Late Night Pharmacy, where the team and Rutland Lions Club volunteers offering their support are working hard to ensure that the vaccine programme runs smoothly.

Since their move into new premises, Rutland Late Night Pharmacy have reignited the vaccination campaign, initially offering both booked and walk-in Covid vaccinations.

It was expected that Rutland Late Night Pharmacy would provide both bookings and walk-ins, but as of Wednesday the 14th of September 2022 the team, supported by Rutland Lions volunteers, have had to cease walk-ins for the next couple of weeks due to vaccine supply problems. Bookings will continue as planned.

As people are still being advised by the NHS that Rutland Late Night Pharmacy are offering walk-ins, many people are arriving and having to have explained to them that they cannot have their vaccination, and that they will need to either book online or call via 119 to find an alternative somewhere else.

Rutland residents currently trying to book online will not be offered Oakham Rutland Late Night Pharmacy as they are fully booked until the end of September and can only book appointments based upon the vaccine supply available.

Updates will be released when the situation changes.
