This week it was announced that The Whipper-In, based in Oakham's Market Place, is set to see new owners after the venue was acquired by P&F Commercial agents in late August 2022.

There will be a new team, head chef, and new menu.

The venue hosted a tasting event on Thursday the 25th of August, after which the P&F team said the 'food was amazing' and that there are some 'major plans for the place'.

These plans include a full refurbishment of the hotel and other aspects of the restaurant.

The P&F team concluded: " It will be some journey and definitely one worth following. Watch this space!"
