Three Oakham-based businesses have taken the win in this year's regional Muddy Stilettos 'Muddy' Awards for Northants, Leicestershire and Rutland.

This year, the 12th annual Muddy Stilettos Awards attracted over 11 million votes across the UK all supporting their favourite local businesses. 

There were 22 categories that businesses were nominated in, with five finalists being selected in each category. Ten of the businesses that reached the finals were Oakham based, with several also based in Uppingham.

Three of the winning businesses were from Oakham. In the Boutique Stays category, The Hide at Manton Bay took the win. The Finch's Arms won best destination pub and Cavells Oakham came out on top for Women's Style.

Finalists from each region will go against other finalists from other regions to find the final winner.
