The Victoria Hall team are welcoming in a bright future with a range of events scheduled on the run up to the festive season.

This comes as they announce that their gallery will be closed until November for a refurbishment. Find out more here.

Until November, business is as usual for the rest of the venue, with shops, suppliers and stalls still open and running in the other dedicated rooms and spaces in the hall.

The Victoria Hall team posted an appeal for new artists to display their work at the gallery when it has reopened: "New or interested artists wishing to display artwork with us, a great location on Oakham High Street, please just email [email protected] - we're looking forward to hearing from you."

In the meantime, Victoria Hall have a range of paid and free events scheduled for the local community to enjoy.

On Wednesday the 26th of October, the Victoria Hall team are hosting a Jewellery Evaluation Day.

Following the reopening of the gallery, they will be hosting a Pastel Workshop run by Andrea Naylor on the 11th of November. This is a ticketed event great for new and learning artists.

The very next day, Saturday the 12th of November from 10am until 4pm, Victoria Hall will play host to a Heritage Crafts Fair. Admission is free and all are welcome to join the fun, try out some of the crafts on display, and buy local produce.

On the run up to the winter season, they will also be holding their Annual Ski Wear Sale to get you kitted out for the ski season - or just to keep you wrapped up nice and warm this winter!
