It's the perfect time of year to visit Rutland Farm Park and come face-to-face with their new arrivals.

Born in late May, two new calves have joined the collection of rare breed animals at the family attraction located on Uppingham Road.

Headed up by owners and hands-on managers Clive and Julie, the farm has been a top spot for grownups and children since it reopened in 2017 after being closed for over a decade.

It brags a range of attractions and features, including a café, play park, animal petting and feeding sessions, a selection of home and handmade and allergy-friendly goodies available at Daphne's tea room, holiday activities and a collection of rare breed animals.

And that rare breed collection is ever expanding!

Their long-term residents, the English Longhorn ladies, have welcomed new calves to the farm, and they are now out in the field ready for you to visit.

To mark the occasion, the team gave away a family pass to visit the farm, which was won by the first follower to guess the breed.

You can follow them on Instagram and Facebook for more wholesome content, or to catch any future giveaways, events and news from the team.

Alternatively, pop along to the farm on Uppingham Road, where you can enjoy homemade food and more in Daphne's tea rooms, before purchasing your tickets and heading in to see their new entertainment centre, larger-than-ever collection of heavy horses, or joining in with their guinea pig petting sessions, and much more.

They are open:

Tuesday to Sunday, 10am to 5pm, and on Mondays during the holidays, including bank holidays.

Entry starts at £8.50, with under 3s going free. Family and season tickets are also available to purchase online

Parking is free, and you can purchase extras like animal feed on the day – just be sure not to feed the horses.
