Walls of Oakham home spray painted with graffiti during burglary

The inside walls of a house in Oakham was spray painted with graffiti during a recent burglary.

Leicestershire Police say suspect/s gained entry to the house, which was unoccupied at the time, through a rear door.

The incident happened at a property in Cold Overton Road, Oakham between February 22 and March 1.

A spokesman told Nub News: "Damage has been caused to the property inside with graffiti spray painted on the walls."

Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 20*117516."

Leicestershire Police have also confirmed reports of a 'tagging' incident, also on Cold Overton Road, Oakham.

Police received a report of criminal dramage said to have happened sometime between 4pm on February 27 and 8am the following day.

The spokesman continued: "There is a tag "T" on "Z" in a circle sprayed on an external wall and blue paint sprayed on some flowers."
