By Grace Kennington 3rd Mar 2026
The Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland Resilience Forum is holding a new webinar this week to help local businesses and other organisations prepare for the possibility of flooding.
Flooding is currently one of the biggest threats to businesses in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland, with businesses and organisations being urged to take advantage of this free webinar to learn how to prepare for flooding an other key risks.
The webinar, which will be ran by LLR Resilience Forum, hopes to help businesses tackle flooding, loss of utilities (like water, electricity and telecoms) and infrastructure failure.
It is open to all local businesses and will take place on Wednesday 4 March from 6pm.
Mark Warden, Manager of the Resilience Forum, said: 'Businesses often don't take the time to consider how they'd keep going if they were affected by an event like flooding or a prolonged power outage.
'The Risk Ready Businesses webinar will help them to identify some key steps to take to make sure they can respond faster and recover more quickly.'
Following this, a second free webinar about supporting businesses with health disruptions and pandemics will take place on Thursday 12 March at 6pm.
