The second annual Rutland Flower Show is returning to Rutland Showground this August 14-16, bringing with it a host of celebrity guests, fascinating workshops and fantastic local growers and makers.

From the bandstand to Fine Foods Marquee, Garden Theatre to show gardens, there is something for all levels of gardener, whether you are a horticultural expert or total novice.

This year's line up of celebrity guests includes seven-time gold medallist at the Chelsea Garden Show and Gardeners' World host Adam Frost.

Adam will be bringing his honest, no-nonsense approach to gardening with his own experiences of mental health on the Friday and Sunday of the show, where visitors will have the chance to get a copy of his new book For the love of Plants: Over 150 Plants to Bring Joy to Your Garden and Your Life signed.

Adam will be joined by Nick Hamilton, author of two organic gardening books and best known locally for his work on Barnsdale Gardens.

Son of gardening legend Geoff Hamilton, Nick took over Barnsdale Gardens after his father's death and subsequently opened them to the public in 1997 and have been inspiring gardeners ever since.

There will also be appearances from Gardeners' World's Carol Klein, garden designer Andrew Jackson and presenter Bex Edwards.

A highlight of Rutland Flower Show (RFS) is the Grand Marquee, where visitors can explore beautifully handcrafted items, meet the region's talented artisans and connect with local creatives selling everything from woodwork to fine jewellery, ceramics and home décor.

Next is the Fine Foods Marquee, a highlight for food lovers, which is packed with an incredible selection of artisanal, local and speciality food.

Browse homemade jams, locally brewed beers, fine cheese and hand crafted treats and meet the friendly makers and bakers behind them.

Inside the Garden Theatre, visitors can look forwards to live horticultural demonstrations, question and answer sessions and a programme packed with celebrity gardener talks and guest speakers.

There's lots to do for families too, with circus performers showing off their tricks, fairground rides and a mini railways for smaller visitors.

At the centre of the show ground, the bandstand creates a vibrant and lively area for visitors to enjoy live music and entertainment, ideal for a break between demonstrations to unwind with some refreshments.
