Thursday Night Dinner at The Fox and Hounds

The Fox and Hounds will be hosting their £12 Thursday special on Thursday 18 January.

This week's dish will be venison sausage and mash with seasonal veg and a red wine jus - and you can enjoy discounted drinks too!

Head down to 6 Somerby Road, Knossington to join the fun.

Berni Night at The Plough

This week, The Plough is hosting a Berni Night - throwing it back with prawn cocktail, steak and black forest gateaux - on Saturday 20 January. There will also be live music of the 'Berni Inn' era from Black Jack, a local band who are popular at the village venue.

This week, they are also hosting a Burger Week extravaganza - order any burger on the menu, and get the second for £2.50. This runs until Friday 19 January.

The team will also be hosting their weekly quiz on Thursday 18 January from 8:30pm. The event costs £1 per person to enter, max 6 person per team.

Winning team get a round of drinks, and all teams go into a draw to crack the safe. Could you win?

Rutland Polo Club Ceilidh

Join Rutland Polo Club for their winter social fundraiser on 20 January 2024.

Enjoy a Burns Night themed Ceilidh, live music, supper, Scottish dancing with Caller, bar and raffle.

The evening kicks off at 7:30pm.

Hedge Laying for Beginners Workshop

Join the team at LRWT for their two day hedge laying course suitable for beginners. On this course you will have a brief introduction to the ancient art of Hedge Laying, learn what it involves, when to hedge-lay and how. You will also the opportunity to lay your own section of hedge.

Morris Dancing Workshop

 The first Rutland Morris 'give it a go' workshop of 2024 is set to take place on 21 January.

The workshop will take place from 10am until 1:30pm at Ashwell Village Hall.
