Spring into Oakham
Oakham Town Council has organised a special event to celebrate all things local and bring the community together this Saturday 15th March.
There will be a variety of stalls from local creatives, businesses and food vendors, as well as activities for children, live music, local history tours and a competition for local businesses on who has the best spring window display.

Rutland Morris performance
As part of the Oakham in Spring celebration, Rutland Morris will be doing their iconic dancing in Oakham Town Centre from noon until 2pm.

Live music by Steve Bean at Oakham Castle
Local musician and guitarist Steve Bean will be performing at Oakham Castle as part of Spring into Oakham on Saturday 15th March.
Steve will be performing at the castle between 11am and 2.30pm.
Living Wreath Making Workshop at Cottesmore Village Hall
The Nature Craft Collective are hosting a brilliant new workshop at Cottesmore Village Hall on Saturday 15th March between 2pm and 3.30pm.
In this workshop you will be creating a wreath that won't die within a week or two, it is a living wreath that will continue to bloom and grow as the seasons change. Everything you need is included in the workshop.

Wedding Fayre at Normanton Church
The iconic Normanton Church on the edge of Rutland Water are hosting a wedding fayre for couples to meet their wedding team and find out more about vendors, local suppliers and everything they need to make their day even more special.
This famous Rutland landmark has become a stunning location for civil weddings since it was repaired in the 1970s and now has options to host magical weddings seven days a week, all year round.

Thursday Night Dinner at Fox and Hounds

The team at The Fox & Hounds in Knossington be hosting their weekly Thursday night special on Thursday 13th March. This week they are serving up chicken and apricot tagine or a vegetarian alternative of halloumi instead of chicken.
For just £12.95, every week they put on a popular meal deal, and you can head down to 6 Somerby Road, Knossington to join the fun.
