Pastel Workshop at Victoria Hall
On 3 February 2023, Andrea Naylor will be returning to Victoria Hall with a Pastel Workshop from 10am - 1pm.
This 3 hour workshop is an ideal way to experience pastels via a step by step guide in a relaxed, informal environment.
There is no need for prior experience. Learn techniques on how to create realistic eye detail and fur texture and immerse yourself into a world of creativity promoting confidence and mental well-being.

Friday Night is Music Night
Oakham School are back with their first major ensemble concert of the term on Friday 3 February from 7:30pm.
This musical extravaganza features the School's top orchestras and ensembles.
An exciting programme spotlights student soloists in concerti by Shostakovich and Vivaldi, and the Symphony Orchestra explores the lyrical music of Dvoák in the first movement of his Symphony No. 8. The Concert Band opens the programme with a selection of new swing pieces, with the Big Band finishing the concert with a collection of popular hits.
This event is free, although tickets required. Book online.
The Rutland Big Sale
On Saturday 4 February 2023, The Rutland Big Sale will take place at the Rutland Hall Hotel and Spa.
The Rutland Big Sale will host a mix of stalls, from clothing to crafts and decoration to dog toys, marking the end of the January sales with a 'big bang'!
This event will be free, and free on site parking is available.
The public will be welcomed in from 10am, with last entry at 4pm.

The Rugby Six Nations
Don't forget about the Rugby Six Nations, which starts this Saturday, 3 February at 2:15pm with Wales vs Ireland at the Millennium Stadium. Following that will be the England vs Scotland game at Twickenham at 4:45pm.
