With long summer days come long summer weekends, and this weekend is no exception, with events going on from Thursday through to Sunday evening to keep everyone entertained!

The weather is looking good, so let us help you plan to make the most of this this weekend...

Only Fools and Three Courses Dinner

Start the weekend early on Thursday the 30th of June with dinner and a show!

Comedy Dining are pleased to bring you the sequel to Only Fools and 3 Courses a completely different dining experience.

DCI Roy Slater will be putting in an appearance, and we all know what Del thinks of him!

Cassandra and Rodney take a trip down memory Lane (Rodney as a Gladiator?)

All your favourite characters will be on hand to make sure you have an evening you will never forget, Del, Rodney, Boycie, Trigger, Uncle Albert, Raquel and Cassandra, this will exercise chuckle muscles you did not know you had.

A Midsummer Night's Dream by ULTRAVIOLET

Also on Thursday, locals can join ULTRAVIOLET Productions for a circus inspired raucous re-imagining of Shakespeare's iconic A Midsummer Night's Dream.

A beloved favourite amongst audiences across the country, this hilarious comedy tells the story of vibrant young lovers lost in a forest one fateful Midsummer night.

Rutland Music Festival

The highly anticipated Rutland Music Festival will also be taking place this weekend.

From Friday the 1st until Sunday the 3rd of July 2022, Rutland Showground will host a range of local bands, tribute acts, food and drink stalls and much, much more!

Charity Strawberry and Prosecco Afternoon Tea

Rounding off the weekend with a touch of class, Dove Cottage are hosting an afternoon tea on Sunday the 3rd of July at Empingham Cricket Club.

The event starts at 2:30 pm and tickets cost £10, which includes cakes, tea and coffee, live music and lovely surroundings.

Dove Cottage host a range of local events to help the provide care for those in need.
