Growing successful sweet peas workshop

On Friday 20 June from 9.30-11.30am, Easton Walled Gardens will be hosting a workshop on growing successful sweet peas.

A description for this event reads: "Head Gardener Tim Metcalfe-Kemp will take you on a tour of the Easton Walled Gardens sweet peas, just when the flowers will be starting to bloom, followed by a talk and demonstration on how we get the best out of our flowers year after year."

Castle Bytham midsummer festival

From Sat 21st until Sun 22nd June, Castle Bytham is hosting a midsummer festival, featuring live music, food and drink, fairground rides, markets, and more.

Songs of Summer - Rutland Voices Choir performance

Enjoy an evening of choral music, folk songs and more at All Saints Church on Sat 21 June from 7.30pm (doors open at 7pm).

A description for this event reads: "Please join us for our first Summer Concert, after a sell out Christmas debut, to mark the Summer Solstice with a programme of popular songs, folksongs and choral classics.

"Joined by Emma Gant - Vocals and Violin & Anne Bolt, Piano; led by our Musical Director, Peter Davis."

Exton Hall garden opening

The garden at Exton Hall is opening this Sunday 22 June.

A description reads: "Extensive park, lawns, specimen trees and shrubs, lake, private chapel and C19 house (not open). Pinetum, woodland walks, lakes, ruins, dovecote and formal herbaceous garden.

"Opening for the National Garden Scheme."
